Florida Blue Foundation

The Florida Blue Foundation takes a comprehensive view of how best to impact the health of Floridians. To achieve lasting change, Embrace a Healthy Florida, an initiative of the Florida Blue Foundation, focuses on building a constituency and improving policies and institutional practices to prevent and reduce childhood obesity in Florida.

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation

Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities is a national program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF). Its primary goal is to implement healthy eating and active living initiatives that can support healthier communities for children and families across the United States and here in Duval County. The program places special emphasis on reaching children who are at the highest risk for obesity on the basis of race, ethnicity, income and/or geographic location.
